Timothy Jerome Walker, Celebrity Stylist, flew straight from the Golden Globes in Beverly Hills on Monday morning to PowerBack Voorhees in NJ, for a Color Education Workshop for Matura stylists. Mr. Walker, an accomplished hair color specialist and cutting designer for 25 years, is also an independent artist for P&G Salon Professionals but still finds time to service an exclusive clientele.
“We had a really great time learning all about the best techniques for gray coverage from Mr. Walker today. He flew straight from the Golden Globe Awards to us after doing Sylvester Stallone's hair for the event. Quite impressive, “ commented Matura Field Manager, Sherley Jean-Baptiste who coordinated the event with P&G Salon Professionals Account Manager Renee Freeze.
"It was well worth the 2 hour drive to learn from someone who knows what he's doing, " exclaimed Matura stylist Shakonda Lindsey. Other Matura licensed and experienced stylists who attended the hands on workshop included Jasmine Willingham, Linda Ferri and Georgy Kaufman. These Matura stylists provide professional salon and spa services to more than 20 nursing and rehabilitation centers and independent senior living communities in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Through Matura’s partnership with P&G Salon Professionals, Matura professional stylists receive continuing education in technical mastery through in person workshops conducted by Wella educators, online virtual education and a variety of online tools in which stylists can readily access expert hair design and coloring knowledge.
