REVEAL©
MEMORY CARESpecialized. Research-Based. Compassionate.

PERSONALIZED BEAUTY –
AND CARE.

REVEAL© Memory Care creates salon services that meet the individual needs of residents living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia. They are the heart of Matura and the people who bring beauty, joy, and friendship to your residents.

ENHANCING
SALON EXPERIENCE.

Matura believes that feeling well-groomed plays a significant role in maintaining self-esteem and overall well-being for everyone. But for memory care residents, this sense of self-care can help alleviate feelings of anxiety and depression commonly experienced by those living with dementia. We also understand that beyond beauty and grooming services, the salon experience provides soothing sensory cues (like familiar scents), memory triggers (like familiar surroundings), and much-appreciated compassion – all of which go a long way when it comes to well-being.

OUR TEAM. SPECIALLY TRAINED. EXPERIENCED.

Caring for those with memory loss requires a special level of empathy, patience, and expertise – the same is true when it comes to providing salon services. While our stylists are naturally empathetic and patient, we provide them with training that creates understanding and confidence. We know when it’s time to adjust or evolve our services – and we know when it’s time to reschedule.

In collaboration with national dementia experts, our stylists have completed REVEAL© dementia education and training. Our team has also completed the Alzheimer’s Association essentiALZ® individualized certification program that provides recognition for knowledge of quality dementia care practices.

Perhaps even more importantly, our dementia stylists often bring emotional support and a close, consistent relationship into their lives.

REVEAL© brings to light the true beauty and spirit of a person living with memory loss. With a gentle, caring touch and specialized training, we help residents enjoy relaxing salon experiences that help REVEAL© the beautiful people they are today.
